Red Mite Powder is an effective repellent to be applied to poultry as a proactive 'on bird' deterrent to infestation or to rectify an existing problem. It is suitable for use in Organic Farming Systems as it is made from pure and natural ingredient.The best time to treat the

birds is in the evening, because Red Mite are nocturnal and so feed on the birds as they roost at night.

Directions for use

Thoroughly dust the birds with the powder, avoiding the eyes. Dependant upon infestation, the powder can be applied again after 5/6 weeks. Don't forget that red mite can live away from the birds for up to 36 weeks. It can also be put it the birds dust bath.Red Mite Powder contains minute slow release granules that remain effective for up to six weeks - depending upon infestation and conditions.

Directions of use

Use directly on to the birds and rub in well partically in to the more downy feathers under the wings and around the vent as this is where mites tend to live and lay there eggs. Repeat regularly. Can also be put in the birds dust bath.

This product can also be used to treat cattle, horses, goats, rabbits and other small pets that have lice.
